Senator Albert Commiserates With Family Of Late Deaconess Mary Capstain Leo
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources Upstream and Leader, Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the National Assembly, Abuja, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA) has commiserated with Elder Edet Jacob and his family over the passage of their mother, the Late Deaconess Mary Capstain Leo.
Senator Albert, popularly known as OBA, in a condolence message, described the passage of the Late Deaconess Mary Capstain Leo, the mother in law of Elder Edet Jacob, as an irreparable loss.
“I received the news of the loss of your mother-in-Law, Late Deaconess Mary Capstain Leo. I commiserate with you and your entire family for this irreparable loss.
“As a committed Christian and a diligent entrepreneur, Mama dedicated her life to serving God and humanity. Her works and legacies will live beyond her, and I encourage you to continue to emulate those values she represented while alive,” the senator stated.
OBA, on behalf of his family and constituents of Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District, prayed for the repose of her soul and grace on the entire family to bear the loss.
The funeral and thanksgiving service in honour of the Late Deaconess Mary Capstain Leo, aged 79, was conducted by The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ikot Ntuen Oku Area, Uyo Field, Akwa Ibom Territory, at Secondary School, Etoi, Oron Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
The Late Deaconess Mary Leo was a renowned woman leader, accommodating, kind hearted and a disciplinarian who also stood for peace, fairness, justice and equity.
