The magnificent Appeal Court Complex in Asaba, Delta State, is slated for official commissioning on Monday, February 3, 2020.
The Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, who is expected to commission the edifice, who undertook an inspection visit to the complex located on Maryam Babangida Way in the state capital, told journalists that finishing touches were being made to ensure that everything was in place before the inauguration.
The governor expressed satisfaction with the level of work on the complex, adding that functionality of the court would bring a lot of relief to Deltans who travel long distances to other states to seek for justice.
He disclosed that four states were approved to have courts of Appeal, expressing happiness that everything was being put in place to meet with the date scheduled for the commissioning.
The Governor commended Deltans for their support, affirming that the present administration’s mantra of a stronger Delta was on course.
