Eastern Obolo Council Chairman Lauds Gov Eno On Ibom Dialogue, Arise Agenda And Inauguration Of State Executive Council
The Executive Chairman of Eastern Obolo Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Elder Abraham Michael Odion has lauded Governor Umo Eno for initiating a broad-based approach towards fast-tracking the development of Akwa Ibom State.
The chairman, who spoke in an interview, said the successful launch of Ibom Dialogue at Ibom Icon and Golf Resorts, Uyo, which offered insights into the Arise Agenda of Pastor Eno, has laid bare before the people the rich vision that he has for the State.
Elder Odion reasoned that the unveiling of the Arise Akwa Ibom was therefore a clarion call on all Akwa Ibomites to join hands with Governor Eno in building our State as we have always envisaged.
“We have seen the commitment and clear vision of our amiable Governor, Pastor Umo Eno towards the development of Akwa Ibom State. He assembled experts from various fields to outline the inherent packages in the Arise Agenda during the Akwa Ibom Dialogue at Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo, last week.
“With the swearing in of Commissioners and a Special Adviser and the appointment of other categories of political appointees, Governor Umo Eno has set off to offer impactful governance to the people, armed with the Arise Agenda as he promised during the electioneering campaigns.
“On behalf of the government and the entire people of Eastern Obolo Local Government Area, I congratulate the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno on these landmark events,” the Hon. Odion stated.

The council chairman reiterated that the people of Eastern Obolo fully appreciate Governor Eno for demonstrating a people-centric leadership character and expressed assurances that his governance will bring multi-faceted development to the State.
He expressed the hope that the Commissioners and other appointees will offer superlative performances in their respective MDAs in line with the Arise Agenda of the governor.
“I sincerely congratulate all the Commissioners and Special Adviser. I pray to the Almighty God to bless them with the strength and wisdom to discharge their duties effectively to move our dear state forward.
Elder Odion further pledged the continued support, loyalty and cooperation of the council and the people of Eastern Obolo to Governor Eno’s administration, stressing that the people will remain peaceful and law-abiding to enable him to transform their local government area and the state in general.
