Rivers State Monarch Extols Oku Ibom on Leadership Appointment

A royal father in Rivers State, His Royal Highness, Ambassador Appolus Chu has congratulated His Eminence Nteyin (Dr.) Solomon Etuk on his appointment as the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs.

The distinguished monarch, Amb. Appolus Chu, Egbere Emere Okori Eleme, Paramount Ruler of Okori Community, Rivers State in the goodwill message said that the Nteyin Etuk was a royal father with impeccable records.

He said, “Your appointment I believe is a testimony of your track records in piloting the affairs of the people of Ibibio nation, to which I belong, as a grandson, through your daughter.”

The Rivers State monarch also commended the Oku Ibom Ibibio on his contributions to the growth of Akwa Ibom State University through his position as the newly installed Chancellor of the institution.

According to him, the appointment is well-deserved as Nteyin Etuk’s wealth of leadership experience is what the traditional council of chiefs needs to steer its affairs towards the right direction.

“While believing, I sincerely hope that you will build on the legacies of your predecessors, especially taking into cognizance your wide experience and exposure in the affairs of managing men and resources.

“It is my hope that Akwa Ibom State Traditional Institution and indeed the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, which Your Eminence is a member, by your position as the Chairman, Akwa Ibom Traditional Rulers will gain immensely from your wealth of experience and leadership style.”
