Eteidung Asikpo Hails Prince Uwah For Diligence As SSG
… Lauds Gov. Eno For Inclusive Governance And Performance
The Village Head of Ekpri Nsukara Offot in Uyo Local Government Area, Eteidung Emem Denis Asikpo, has lauded the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, for his diligence in the performance of his duties.
Eteidung Asikpo said the SSG has, by his outstanding performance, excelled as a good ambassador of the Offot Ukwa Clan as well as the Uyo Local Government Area in the administration of Governor Umo Bassey Eno.
He said traditional rulers in the Offot Ukwa Clan are very happy with Prince Uwah for relating well with them and the people, and also for ensuring that the policies of Governor Eno, as encapsulated in the ARISE Agenda, are efficiently implemented.
Speaking on the sidelines of an interface with the SSG on Friday, July 5, 2024, the village head noted that the administration of Pastor Eno has done so much for the people by offering quality leadership and impactful development across the state.
Eteidung Asikpo pointed out that the governor’s non-discriminatory relationship with other political parties and their members through his inclusive governance approach has endeared him to the people, as well as engendered peace, unity, development and a sense of togetherness among all Akwa Ibomites.
“We must commend our dear son, Prince Enobong Uwah, for being diligent in his duty as the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government. He has proven to be a true ambassador of the Offot Ukwa Clan and the Uyo Local Government Area as a whole.

“We are fully supportive of Governor Umo Eno’s administration. He has done well for the people. His impact is being felt across the entire state. He doesn’t discriminate against other political parties and their members,” he added.
The village head further expressed joy that Governor Eno doesn’t also sideline those who opposed him, did not support him, or had contested against him in the last governorship polls in the state.
In his words, “The governor’s policy of inclusion has brought about peace, unity, development and a sense of togetherness among all Akwa Ibomites. We cherish it and do pledge our continuous, unflinching cooperation to the administration by mobilising our subjects always to support the government and its programmes.”
He urged the state administration to continue at that impactful pace of offering quality welfare services to the people and to also look into the challenges of remedying poor roads in the Offot Ukwa communities in the Uyo Local Government Area.
According to him, as the headquarters of Akwa Ibom, the Uyo capital city plays host to people from other parts of the state and beyond.
