Senator Albert Felicitates With Rev. Fr. Cletus Etim On 25Th Priestly Anniversary
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources Upstream and Leader of Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the National Assembly, Abuja, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA) has felicitated with Very Reverend Father Cletus Ubon Etim on his milestone of service since his ordination into priesthood 25 years ago.
Senator Albert, who represents Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District, described Very Rev. Fr. Etim as a worthy vessel of God, whose zeal in the lord’s vineyard is well known and appreciated within and outside the Catholic Church.
He spoke at the Silver jubilee celebration of Very Rev. Fr. Etim held at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Ikot Abasi Urban, Ikot Abasi LGA, Catholic Diocese of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
Very Rev. Fr. Cletus Ubon Bassey, was ordained a Catholic Priest on November 23, 1996 by Most Rev. (Dr) Brian Daniel Usanga, the then Archbishop of Calabar Ecclesiastical Province, while commemorating the First Anniversary of the demise of His Eminence Dominic Cardinal Ekanem.
